About the Project
A web portal where the operator's customers book shipments, follow them in real time and download their paperwork, and where staff manage vehicles, drivers and routes from one screen. It replaced phone bookings and a shared spreadsheet.
The challenge
What the client needed
The operator managed all bookings by phone and recorded data in a shared spreadsheet. This led to:
- Every booking was a phone call
- Customers had no way to see where a shipment was
- Entries went missing or were typed twice
- Shipment status was updated hours late
- Monthly reports were built by hand and nobody trusted them

We built a portal where customers log in, book a shipment, watch its status and download the paperwork, and where the operator's staff manage the fleet from one screen.
